On my daughter Maxi’s birthday we went to our favorite smoothie place and the kids had our favorite chocolate smoothies. Since then Maxi has experimented in the kitchen and has come up with a pretty close version of our favorite. Here is her recipe:
Chocolate Milkshake
Ingredients:
1 1/2 frozen bananas
1/3 cup dates, pitted and soaked in water overnight
Water to cover dates
2-3 scoops chocolate Life Shake
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
Put dates into a bowl and cover with water to soak overnight.
Put soaked dates with the water, frozen bananas, Life Shake and unsweetened cocoa powder into blender.
If needed, add more water and ice. Blend and enjoy!
