Working from home has these amazing benefits! This past Sunday was the third member appreciation day that my awesome team and I organized for our Shaklee members! Every year we come together with part of our Shaklee members and make Sandwiches for the Homeless. It is always tons of fun and it feels SO good to give back to the community.
In our first year we made around 460 sandwiches that we delivered to Martha’s Table in D.C. With a growing team and additional members, we were able to get around 860 sandwiches done in our second year. We were wondering how many more we would be able to make this year. Our team has been exploding and we were hoping to get more than 1,000 sandwiches to feed the homeless but 1,000 seemed like a huge number! In the end, it only took us only three hours and we were so excited when we were finally able to donate 1,188 sandwiches and almost 50 loaves of bread!!!
I have heard it a million times but I am still amazed to see what we can accomplish when we work together.
