Things have been busy for our family. We have been growing our business, traveled a lot and as a result I have been absent for a while. Now, I am back and can’t wait to share this recipe with you!
We fix protein bites all the time. Benni loves them so much that we rarely have any leftovers to freeze! The chocolate and cherries went especially well together – this recipe is definitely a keeper!
Cherry Chocolate Protein Bites (gluten free, raw)
Ingredients:
- 3 scoops Shaklee Chocolate Life Shake
- 1 cup gluten-free old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/3 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1 oz. stevia sweetened chocolate bar, cut into chunks (I used Lily’s Original Dark Chocolate which is also gluten free)
- 1/3 – 1/2 cup dried cherries
- 4-5 pitted dates
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup natural almond butter
- 4 tbsp. unsweetened almond milk
Directions:
Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until it’s sticky and well-mixed. Press ‘dough’ into balls or use an ice cream scooper and place onto serving platter/plate! Freeze, if desired, or enjoy right away!
