With the new year approaching and our lives still being impacted by the current pandemic, I have been getting questions about how to use the new and improved Basic G+, Shaklee’s Germicide.

So, today I am writing this to let everyone know about our alternative to Lysol or Bleach and how to use it. Basic G+ cleans, disinfects and deodorizes in ONE easy step! One pint will make up to 32 gallons of disinfectant. That will save you lots of money in the long run!

Basic G+ disinfects, cleans, and deodorizes hard, nonporous surfaces such as floors, walls, stainless steel surfaces, glazed porcelain, and plastic surfaces within five minutes. Once mixed, use within 14 days.

Mix 3/8 teaspoon to 16 oz. spray bottle.

Mix 1 tablespoon to 1 gallon of water.

Because it is so concentrated, a little goes a long way!!!

Shaklee Basic G+ is an amazing Germicide that I have used for six years now.

I use this 16 oz. bottle that Shaklee carries. It has a special sprayer nozzle that guarantees that the disinfectant will go where you want it to go! After you spray rub with cloth, brush or sponge. After five minutes, either wipe with water or let air dry.

Basic G+ has a one year shelf life. Great wherever disinfectants are used. Kills up to 99% of bacteria.

One question we get asked a lot recently is “Is Basic G+ effective against coronavirus or COVID-19?”

I wanted to share Shaklee’s official answer with you:

“COVID-19 is caused by SARS-CoV-2, a novel coronavirus. Basic G+ kills similar viruses and therefore can be used against SARS-CoV-2 when used in accordance with the directions for use against Norovirus on hard nonporous surfaces. Refer to the CDC for additional information. The EPA registration number for Basic G+ is EPA# 6836-364 and is listed on the CDC website as expected to be effective against COVID-19.”
